My car keeps shutting itself off, even while driving down the road. I have put it on a computer and found 4 different codes. One of which is the crankshaft sensor. Could this be my problem?

This code is not documented so the code reader is giving a false reading.
If the car runs OK and check engine light is not on, I would forget about it.

yes it can stop vehicle from starting, but i would call a mobile mechanic to check it out for you, start changing bits willy nilly and it will cost you more in the long run.

I hope it's your timing belt/ chain, and not a blown motor. They don't go far with no oil. The fact that it turns over is a good thing. Was there any oil left in it?

One question. How many sensors where actually bad, as in ruined? How were the sensors tested or checked out? Have you looked at any other data.?
Testimonial: "Well i brought it to advanced auto and they ran the diagnostics on the car and it read: blown crankshaft sensor which is causing the car to misfire. "
Sounds like you need to have the transmission rebuilt. The problem sounds like the valves that make it shift are sticking.
