means that you have a transmissions code set. Have code retrieve. the pcm is in fault mode and no second gear or tcc apply or else.If code set the check engine light on is repair then the second gear be on again.
DTC stands for Diagnostic Trouble Code. My question is why did you have the vehicle checked out in the first place? Is the check engine light on? What was the code number and did it start with P0 or P1. If you don't remember then have the code(s) cleared and operate the vehicle until the code(s) reappear. The code or codes can help you to determine where to start looking.
I'd go to an auto parts store that will check for any diagnostic codes free of charge (autozone and advance auto both do) and if you have any codes, list them here and I can tell you their definitions and the most common solutions to fix them in detail if needed
after a year of disply Dsc faulty at least we have found someone who can find a code reader is c1288 and c1289, but problem is i dont know how to remove them and what they mean help please
that dont mean it needs a new canister it a evap vent conrol circuit problem. that means somethings up with the purge valve or a vent valve[dont know what your car is] dont waiste money on a canister.spend it diagnosing the problem then fix it yourself
Actually I believe the code has something to do with fuel.. the P0237 means Powertrain (P), the 0 means its a common code throughout all vehicles not manufactur specific and the 2 means Fuel , the 37 is the specific code and says the problem usually that i dont know off hand but if theres like a lack of power or you know this is creating a misfire i would start out by checkin fuel pressure [pressure, pump, rails] and then fuel delievery [injectors].
hope that gets you started or an idea maybe
ps a turbo is something you usually install yourself so the car shouldnt be equipped with a turbo sensor...i dont think that exists
