I could use more info why you would suspect the timing belt and ask about if it is a clearance motor? Does it turn over?

According to the Gates Timing belt guide your engine is not an interference type engine, it is a clearance type as u say.. Just replace the belt, this engine requires special camshaft holding fixtures to replace the belt or there make shift equivalent.

I have a 95 honda civic ex,wont start.ran fine yesterday,wont start this morning.battery is fully charged,new cap and rotor.would do u think might b my problem

if it wont turn over 1st check the ground s on the car and the battery 1st. your battery can be fully charged and the car will not start even over night this can happen. then look at the starter. Note: if you have over 109K on the car and the timing belt has never been replaced you will need to have this checked as well.

Wont run

You need compression to make it work. Check that the cam shaft is turning ( broken timing belt)

Replaced timing belt and car won't run

You had better check the timing belt again, you may have done something wrong and it skipped teeth.

I have a audi a6 2.7 quarrtro didn't start yesterday i replaced the feul filter it was completly clogged and i started right up and ran fine now today dosn't want to start again any ideas

chances are when you changed the filter t allowed all the sh.t in the line/tank to flow upto the new filter, you may have to renew this filter after allowing the fuel to clear any residual left in the system by running the pump without connecting the new filter up..

2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet Engine turns over but will not start

First determine if the engine timing belt is still good.

Pop off the clips holding the black plastic cover over the timing belt...and pull away so you can see the belt.( The end away from the transmission.)

Have someone watch the belt as you crank the motor.

Belt should smoothly run while cranking.

If not....you have a broken set of teeth on the belt.

Sounds like a bad ignition switch. It has terminal 50 (starter activation) but no terminal 15 (ignition on) activation.
