Take it to the dealership. You can't possibly have the vacuum machine and scale to do this job properly. 'Freon' hasn't been used for years, it is R-134a. You either have a massive leak so there is no pressure, or the flare on the hoses to the gauges in incorrect.

caused by too much current, there's another fault on the bike.... maybe a short circuit somewhere.
a simple cheap multi-tester in Amps mode should find that no problem (if you have one and know how... if you don't, pay someone, the last thing you need is an electrical fire while pelting down the motorway on a 2 wheeled incendiary device.)
i honestly hope you get this fixed and it's not the end of days for this gorgeous beast.

The best I can tell u is that the smell is from a leak at the evaporator or connections. I advise to get another opinion because it sounds like a lot of guesswork. if u get the work done, make sure the work comes with a warrantee! I gave all my customers warrantees for 20 years. That's part of the diagnostic business! Good Luck If u don't get a warrantee ,don't get the diagnosis or work done

sounds like a earth problem possibly in the boot area take the clusters out and spray all the leads and terminals with wd 40 wouldent think it will be inside the car but i would try this first do the front and side indicators as well

Remove the iac,and lightly pull the stem out ,and put it back on,ac off,start it,and let it idle for 30 seconds or so,then drive it 40 mile an hour for a block or two then ,turn the air on,and drive it and see what it does,the computer has to relearn.

this is your blower fan resistor fitted on the right side to the heater box and takes +- 1 hour to change and is a defect on this models

maybe u need some freion if air blows and and its how and you should get your antifreeze change
