Question about 2000 Dodge Durango
I have a 2000 dodge darango, just a couple days ago while I was driving and came to a stop it made a bad grinding sound. Now the sound is not when I drive only when I make a right hand turn and then it will last a couple of seconds. It sounds like a popping, grinding sound.
It depends if you have 2WD or 4WD, probably either your CV joints, or your wheel bearing, also have your upper and lower ball joints looked at, durangos are bad for those going out. 4WD could have additional problems, like transfer case, front axle bent, and other 4WD probs. i had a similar problem and it was my wheel bearing. buy it offline, not at the parts store, it saved me $140. compared to O'riely Auto Parts.
