was regulator bad? did it work from drivers side switch before you did regulator repair?..if so passenger side switch wiring has issue and is not sending signal through it back to the drivers side master switches.. otherwise you need to pin test for power up power down on drivers side switch and repair that if issue going to the window on passenger side.. (possible pinched at door jam area common)
If a power window, then it sounds like the window regulator has failed, or on either a power or manual window- the regulator attachments have broke. The window would need to come out and inspect for the failure. ?If just the window attachments, they can be purchased and re-glued onto the glass. If the regulator has failed, the entire assembly needs to be replaced.
try checking the switch that controls the up and down, I just had the opposite problem with my 2003 venture the window would not roll down, the garage put in a new switch for the part was about 75 dollars. it took about an hour to fix.
the window wouldnt do that as a sign of defect. most likely the motor went out. but also maybe the clips on the windows bottom broke causing it to fall. the only way to know for sure would be to open it up it could come down to being something as simple as a switch
