No, it is in front of the fuel tank right behind the tranny crossmember support somewhat hidden by a metal cover. Easy to see if you just look near the middle of the truck - under the where a back seat would be if you have the 4-door model.

Here if you have the 3.3 supercharged motor and looking for the->! CRANKPOSITOIN SENSOR!<- and none of these answers have lead u towards the right direction this one will. 1.Jack it up on the drivers side. 2.put jackstands under the frame by deivers door and front crossmember to aupport the vehicle. 3.Take off the tire on the drivers side. 4 remove false rubber fender. 5. Look straight ahead just over the exhaust then vwalla itll be staring straight at you:)
If you engine is a 2.4 liter it's on the passenger side center of the engine compartment, the hoses from the fuel filter conncts to the throttle assembly . You may have to remove the air filter housing to see it. It is a round canister hoses held on with fuel line clamps. hope this helps
Thank you for your follow up. I fixed my problem by finding a hard working mechanic, not a dealership. When I got 3 estimates on replacing the PCV and the Fuel Filter on my 2003 Nissan, there was a $59 difference between the high and low bid. Obviously took the low. Thanks again! Postit2
