You are just going to have to get the codes scanned before anyone here can really help you.... the problem could be anything from a vacuum line issue to a problem with the engine to simply a little o2 sensor

Chekc engine light dont come on

The light comes on or does not come on? If it comes on you need the car scanned for codes to see where the problem is and why it will not pass test. If it does not come on check the blub.

What would cause the engine light to come on..I have checked all fluid levels and everything else seems to be running fine

You have a System Malfunction

Those check light have been on vehicles now, for 30 years, you know that?

Have to go to a repair shop, and have it diagnosed and repaired

The light is a govt mandated emisson warning lamp

What does srvc (p) mean on a 2004 lincoln ls?

Means your parking break is confused (it's electronic).
This can happen if you unhook/rehook the battery.

How to fix: while engine is running and car is in park, turn parking break on, then off. Repeat. It should now be fixed.

What does srvc - (p) warning light mean on a 2005 linc ls

SRVC (p)--Parking Brake needs service

This will require a scanner, to diagnose the issues, with the Electronic Parking Brake circuit. Not your rear calipers.

It is a computer issue, that will require someone, who is a really good tech

I have a 2004 LS and all the shop manuals. This is Fords most complicated and technical vehicle, with lots of issues. The fun hasn't even started for you yet.

My 2005 Lincoln LS V6 has a message that says srvc P

The message means the electric park brake needs serviced. In this case I feel that considering the ac problem, the Coolant Control Valve is defective. The valve can create RF interference that messes with the electronics of the park brake system. The Coolant Control Valve is located at the right side bottom of the radiator fan shroud and has 3 heater hoses connected to it.
