You need to check the fuses again under the hood and under the dash if all are good look for a bad fuse link if you melted wires you had to blow fuses or fuse link

Does an ignition control module have anything to do with fuel pump functioning?

1987 rangers use a device called a TFI module to control ign. timing , this merely triggers a std. coil to fire the center port of distributor cap , this device only controls the coil to fire but does send a pulse for timing back to ecu this sets the base pulse for fuel injection , but its also affected by manifold Air flow and exhaust O2 amounts (closed loop) , but engine should run in base mode (open loop) fuel timing (but not well) , fuel pump relay is enabled to run via ECU output , Now your year ranger had a tech bulletin out on fuel pumps , seems they had a problem getting them to work after a fuel filter was replaced , something about a false backpressure , no if you have no/low fuel pressure then id look at fuel pump power 1st then fuel pump itself assuming you've already tried a new filter of course

Engine cuts out while driving. does not completely stall all the time. Mostly just bogs down to no power. No codes. red spark at coil to distributor. Fuel pressure within spec. Vacuum within spec.

Try a new coil. Red spark is not good, you need a blue snapping spark. If not the coil, better have the ignition analyzed. Possibly a bad ignition module.

1988 ford ranger no spark

Did you replace the ignition control module, it is called the "TFI"? That is the most common source of a no start. There is also a problem with the ignition starter switches coming apart and causes a loss of power to the ignition system.

I have a 1988 ranger no spark no fuel pressure iv replace the coil what could the issue be

Is it Fuel injection and electronic ignition, or still distributor and carb?
if its FI, check the fuel relay, located in the fuse box usually, not sure where for your truck specifically, but if you locate it, tap on it a few times while someone else cranks the truck, also, the fuel pump could be faulty, can you hear the winding noise when you turn on the ignition, if not, then pump is gone.
The spark issue is a tricky one since you said you have replaced the coil... spark wires ok? coil installed properly? battery charged and leads tight? alternator working? if alternator is failing to charge the battery, then it gets to a point where you dont have enough power to make the coil spark, the engine will crank, but not enough current (amps) to fully charge coils to deliver healthy spark.

Good luck...

Help

96 ranger likely doesn't have one. The "module" that used to be found in carburated vehicles with Distributors and Rotors has been eliminated by fuel injection , electronic ignition , and computers.
I MIGHT BE WRONG ABOUT THIS , maybe someone will come up with a better answer. In any case you might have to give more info about what the engine is doing ( or not doing ) .

1988 ford ranger 4 speed v6 problems keeping it running.

Fuel filter? There's also a filter on the suction intake inside the gas tank, it can get plugged up. I'd definitely try the filter if you haven't. Good luck. Have you checked the fuel psi coming from the tank? If it's fuel injection, it should be pretty high, 55 - 60 psi. Let me know if I can help.
