Hi it is either a bad battery or something is draining the battery if u own a amp meter or can get a hold of one dissconnect the positive
[+] of battery and place one side of gauge on the battery lead and the other side on the [+] battery make sure ignition is off and no lights are on close doors and boot.if the gauge reads 0 replace battery
if it dosnt Then what u need to do is pull one fuse out at a time and check reading. It will drop to 0 when u find the right one. When u have found which one is draining power check what the fuse is for and thats your problem

What causes battery to run down over night

Welll then you have a wiring problem or a dead short in the electrical system. You will have to do some research and let us know more info before anyone can help. We just cannot guess friend.
But considering you said it was a "new Battery" that knocks out one possibility of a "dead cell" in the battery.

I have a 2006 saturn ion-2 the battery keeps dying and wont stay charged. Whats going on with it?

If the battery is new, and you are sure it is ok, either the alternator is not charging the battery or there is something in the car that is using power when the key is off.
You could disconnect the battery at night to see if it stays charged, and-or have the alternator output checked.

What can be draining the battery on my 2003 lincoln navigator ...

Hi,
Firstly I would get checking the alternator. This should charge the battery as you drive but if it is broken the battery is technically on full power all of the time, even at night when you are sleeping.
The next thing i would check is if you have added any extra electrical equipment lately (speakers, amplifiers, lights etc) as they may have been wired directly to the power and may be taking the charge from the battery.
Hope this helps

Fluctuating voltage meter

Alternator maybe charging , but not enough to keep the battery charged which is causing the battery to drop charge. Most likely it's the voltage regulator inside the alternator. but regardless the whole alternator will have to be replaced. This will eventually cause the new battery cells to go bad.

Hi my car wont start, after i get a jump it will run that hold day then the next morning nothing will come on no lights anything

your charging system is working okay or you would have to have it jumped more than once a day.you have a bad battery that needs replacing as running it during the day the charging system keeps the battery charged up enough to work.you could have a drain on the battery from something in the car that is not shutting down that you will have to have checked out.or sitting over night the battery runs down to the point that it needs to be jumped started if its an old battery(over5-6years).

start the vehicle, undo one of the battery cables. if the vehicle dies it is most likely the altenator, if the vehicle keeps running then the battery is most likely the culprit

Headlights cutting out on my ford thunderbird

Your alternator may be on its way out. The alternator keeps the battery charged while driving and if the battery looses charge extra lights on the vehicle are usually the first to go.
A rarer possibility is that there is a wire that is rotted. I would get your alternator tested first.

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee alarm keeps randomly going off.

this happened to me recently with my 96 grand cherokee. the battery got drained by the alarm going off randomly at night. i pulled the fuse for the horn so at least my neighbors would only be bothered by flashing lights. then i couldn't jump the car because the alarm was still going off. i hooked my car to jump it to another car, and then i had to deactivate the alarm first by putting my key in the driver side door and unlocking the car. then i left it hooked to another car and still getting power but didn't jump it for at least 5 minutes in case the computer needed to reset. then it jumped fine. from what i've read online, this is a common problem that can be avoided if you stop using the power locks and always manually lock and unlock the doors with your key. its a little annoying, but apparently the power locks are connected to the alarm issue. hope the same works for you.
