Broken antenna i have a 2005 yukon Denali and i need to replace they entire antenna from the antenna base the antenna baseon my truck is located above the front fender

    I am also having difficulty replacting the new antenna. I have removed the old bas but how do you thread the new antenna caqble through the vehicle's firewall and dash assembly.

Under the wheel arch there is normally a splash guard this must be removed so as to get at the base of the antenna . joe

2005 Yukon XL, third brake light intermittent


Remove bulb, make sure it sits tight in the socket. make sure socket is not burnt up (brown or black in color) Check bulb, if the filament inside is loose or discolored, replace as nesessary. Check brake light switch under driver side dash above brake pedal. make sure it is adjusted correctly.

Gas tank wont' fill to specs


Based upon my experience, I would say it's a manufacturing defect. Something in the filler or the tank itself. I've seen cases where the dealer replaced the tank and related parts when this is happening.
