Question about 1988 Daihatsu Charade
My Daihatsu runs well below 100 km but when I get on the freeway and do around 100 to 110 km I get a flat spot as if the cars going to stall.
I then back off the gas pedal and the car picks up again.
Changed the fuel filter used a carbi: cleaner but still doing it.
Could it be the fuel pump or the fuel line to the tank being blocked .
I have checked the points an they look ok gap is about the thickness of a hacksaw blade.
Check your carburettor secondary dashpot is engaging. Check the short hose that comes form the carby body to the dashpot for cracks.
