Question about 1998 Ford Escort
I recently purchased a 1998 Ford Escort 1.6 for my wife but someone had attempted to break into the car using a screwdriver on the drivers side door. A local 'acclaimed' mechanic has fitted a new lock for me, but now we can't get into the car. Any advise on how we might do this without spending a fortune?
Get the bodgy mechanic back ,does it open from passenger side ??if it does then its only a simple repair to fix as the little bar on the back of the door lock has fallen out ,if plastic clip is broke then use a bit of fine wire to lassoo it all together ,it will last for years like this
