I have got oxgen sesores put on the car and the battery was reset but light came back on so now what do you think?

how do you know that you need two catiltyac converters? Are they rusted out? The number one reason that service engines light come one ir  that the Oxygen sensors are bad and giving false readings. They can be checked with a Ohm meter. They are located on the exhause manifold. If easy to get too , I would just replace them, Natually, you have to disconnect the batteryor some other method  to reset the engine service light.

I would now find out how to read the cars computer codes and see what the problem is. I usually look at a repair manual for my type of car.

No, the only way to get the engine codes out of this car is to get the codes scaned. Auto zone offers free engine code scans. Hope this helped =)

I am replacing the rack and pinion and power steering pump in my 97 suzuki esteem. I need to know what type of fluid to use and how much I need to buy.

2 quarts will be more than enough unless the cap of the p/s res says otherwise p/s fluid will be perfectly fine just dont buy the kind with stop leak

I don,t know how to check the gear oil in my 97 suzuki esteem manual transmission or how to add gear oil

The fill plug is on the left hand side of the diff casing just rearwards of where the left hand drive shaft exits the gearbox. You will need a 10mm square drive (a 3/8" ratchet is close, but you have to make sure it stays in the square) to undo it. The box should be filled to this level.

Use a 5w30 oil and the filter the parts person and/or book says to use for that car.

Don't use Fram oil filters. use the cheapest filter that is not fram and any name brand oil that is 5w30.

Autozone has a deal right now for 5qts of oil and a filter for $13
