dear friend:this might sound stupid,but remove the key from the barrel and try again,then see if the dash lights dim when trying to start,if it does the battery is to flat to turn the engine,if it is a auto shift the lever slightly forward and backward to make sure it is not the neutral switch.
Engine internals (not sure which) are no longer balanced or held poperly - immense shaking is created when the massive mechanisms in the engine are not balanced properly - thus making the engine rattle uncontrollably.
Suggested action:
Take it to a dealer/auto workshop and have them inspect and/or repair the car.
