Question about 1990 Lincoln Town Car
I have 1994 Chevrolet Caprice Classic and my car has run like knew until I notice an oil leak I took it to a shop and they said that the oil was leaking from the distributor. I left my car there to have that problem repaired, and when I picked it up they informed me that the put it on an hand held machine and discovered the map sensor was out. They said if I didnt get that replaced everytime my car would get hot it would die or hesitate in other words lose pressure. Help I need an answer.

SOURCE: Rear Axle Leak
if it is the seal, you will have to remove the caliper and rotor, remove the differential cover and remove the bolt and pin inside the diff carrier housing. push in the axle and remove the axle clip and pull out the axle use a seal puller or prybar to remove seal reverse the steps to assemble

to instal the distributor you need to have number one cylinder on top dead center . on compression stroke. Then when you put the distributor in. and you need the rotor pointing at number one spark plug wire.. Drop it in and it will turn it might turn too much when you drop it so pull it back up and drop it in back a notch till it drops in pointing at number one spark plug wire on the distributo cap.. .. sometimes they wont drop in all the way so you have to hold down on it till someone turns the engine over to make it drop on down about 1/2 inch more. I guess first thing you should do is follow number one spark plug wire to the distributor and mark it down below the cap on the metal part of the distributor.. number one cylinder on a chevrolet is if your standing in front of the car with the hood open its the first one on your right. say holler if you have more...
