My caddie keeps running hot and I want to know is it because I am using the wrong anti-freeze. Should I be using the orange anti-freeze instead of the green anti-freeze?

check the usual things:  Loose belts, leaking water pump,  leaking hoses,  Bad thermostat.

does is have cooling system bleed vavle as they might have a air in the cooling system so u will have to bleed it out and if dont have bleed vavle , raidtor fan kicked in working properly me think is ur heating sensor is faulty

Your Dodge requires extended life HOAT coolant. Your mechanic is correct, you should not be using the Green coolant which is conventional coolant. You also cannot use DexCool or a universal coolant. Zerex G-05 HOAT coolant is what you need to use and it is yellow. You can also just buy MOPAR HOAT coolant from your dealer. The HOAT stands for (hybrid organic acid technology).
