I have about 142,000mi on the car and its treated me well. Lately, the driver side door lock has been clicking and jamming up the other doors when entering or exiting the car. The overhead light and the two small lights above the rear view mirror do not work, and to top it off the car stalls a little when started. Oh, and I've recently had the battery charged. Can any one tell me if the door is related to the other stuff thats happening...or is it something worse?

i check head lights, they work key out , so do they?
i turn the key to Ignition on.
the dash self test lamps all glow, do they,?
look at that CEL lamp, (aka SES) lamp, check engine lamp
it it dont glow the engine brain, lost power, fuse, (head lamps work)
if the CEL glows. then now crank the engine, (start pos.)
does it crank robustly? yes /no?

You would check the wires going to the motor at the switch, or at the motor, for power and ground. The switch reverses power and ground for up and down. So one wire going to the motor has power and the other has ground in one direction, and the opposite in the other direction.
Instrument Panel Fuse Block The instrument panel fuse block access door is located on the driver side edge of the instrument panel.
Pull off the cover to access the fuse block.
The vehicle may not use all of the fuses shown.

all Saturns for that year came out with a 1.9 liter engine. There was only one model that was different and had a single overhead cam. The rest had a duel overhead cam. The firing order is the same in both so you are in luck (see picture below). I hope this helps and good luck.
Idle problem most likey a Coolant Temp sensor & connector.Cam covers very common to leak around the sides & down into the spark plug holes.Also all saturn s-series 1.9 engine consume oil.Most 1qt. per 1500 miles some more some less.Service Engine Lamp has nothing to do with regular maintenance.It's a malfunction indicator lamp.If it's on there is Trouble codes stored in the ECM.Auto zone free scan with printout.Hope that helps
One of your door lock inside switches are bad.Find the one that doesn't feel right when you push it in either lock or unlock.The internal spring is broke causing the lock relay to keep try to lock or unlock until it gets hot & protects.
this device might be on a relay check under the hood for a power distribution box.. and see if there is a relay for this .. under the lid of this box is a diagram telling you which relay is which .. thanks Jerry
open the fuse box on the passenger side of the console. Check all the fuses. Also there is a fuse box under the hood I believe on the driver side. check all these fuses also. The only other thing to check if your motors are working fine, is the wiring.
