I have a 2001 4 door Honda Civic. The CD and cassette player are not working. The CD and the cassette gets ejected after inserting.
Is there a simple fix like cleaning that I should try first before buying a new one? Are there any cleaning tools out there? I checked online but couldn't find anything.

wow a working cassette?
why not upgrade, go to walfart get a deck with USB port
and use USB mem stick with 4000 song on it.
and dont look back.
if compelled , take this deck to any repair shop
and they will charge you more than the walfart solution
easy choice, huh?
hi. there should be a small hole just around the outside of the CD cassette. a paperclip, or similar in this hole will operate the manual release for the cassette. you should then be able to work the cassette out gently. if the cd is jammed any furter into the machine, then you may have to dismantle the entire player to remove the cd. hope this helps
