Question about 1990 GMC C1500
It actually died on the road. I felt it was missing and it finally died. Should I just change the cap and rotor. I will also change the spark plug wires becuase I noticed one was broken and did not have a good contact. I bought the car recently so i'm not 100% sure what type of maintenance was done on it.
The first thing i check on these Chev trucks is the fuel pump.............sometimes a rap with a hammer on the gas tank will get it going again...if it does you should have the pump replaced anyway because it will stop again
hope this helps...........good luck!
