Question about 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
i have a 2.9 Terracan with 90000 km and i was told that i have a problem with the injection system and that they have to change all the system : pump, injectors, tank
is this normal ?
thanks for your reply
I depends on what kind of problems you are having. The system consists of three main parts: 1) The 4 injectors, 2) The fuel rail and 3) the high pressure pump. Your problem can be pinpointed to any of them or all. Anyway, such repair calls for quilified technitians with proper tools and factory information on service. It may be expensive. BTW, the fuel tank has no reason to be replaced unless is cracked due to rust or accident. All components from tank can be repaired or replaced if needed.
