Question about 1990 Buick LeSabre
Ok we have changed the relays behind the glove box, checked all fuses and it will run fine sometimes then sometimes you have to wait 30 mins for it to start, we pulled the plug wire and it was getting no spark at all but then within a half an hour it starts and runs, sometimes for hours and sometimes for just a few mins, like to the end of the driveway, my dad said the coil was getting hot but just wanted to see if there is any other solutions that we might want to try first, the check engine light also comes on when the car bucks like it is trying to cut off and then usually when it has sat for 30 mins it starts and the light is off...HELP?????
Replace crank sensor. Next time it cuts off pour or spray water on it, to cool it down and if car starts that is what it is. I did this to get my car home to fix it. Next thing I would look at is the coil module if crank sensor does not fix it.
