Is it good or not good for the car because of the age of the car

    The big thing is the installer. The systems are relatively cheap but, the installation can be pricey in some places, and some of the cheaper installations can end up causing headaches. Before you go out & buy one, price the installation out in your area & also ask how often/many installations they 've done previously. Then go from there. My brother just bought one for his wife, for $69 on sale, only to find out the place he bought it has a terrible reputation for doing it right/wrong,and the quotes he's getting are 4-6 hrs labor. I have a funny feeling, I'm going to be elected for the install & that's what he was trying to avoid, was bugging me over the holidays.

Save up enough money to by one it might be pricey but it will work for a long time

My 89 buick century starts and rus for awhile then dies and sometime does not start i put a new starter on two days age and it still doing it no check lights on


My 94 regal would sometimes start and sometimes not. Sometimes would just die like you turned off the key... after replacing many parts I ended up replacing the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft positon sensor and it has worked great ever since...
