Need to change my thermostat on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4WD

I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4WD 6 Cyl 4.0L.
I am having trouble with my heat. It only gets to lukewarm at best. I figure I may need to change my thermostat. I need to know exactly where to find it and how to replace it. Any link to a diagram would be a plus. Thanks

I do not know a link to a diagram, but I can certainly tell you how to find the thermostat! Looking at the front of the engine, there is a large water hose at the top of the motor that goes to the left, and attaches to the radiator. Not the radiator end, but the other end attaches to the thermostat cover. It has 2 bolts to take out and the little thing between that, and the motor about 2" around that kind of looks like a spinning top, is the thermostat. It is easy to change. Make sure you get ALL the old gasket off and that both bolts go through the new one, and you should be in business!

How to fix 1999 jeep cherokee sport

You mean it cranks but does not start, right ?
The NoBus on the display means the cluster is not talking to the computer. That could be a wiring problem or a component problem.
Have you checked the engine computer for trouble codes ?

Tracing an electrical issue with my 1999 Jeep Cherokee sport. when ignition is turned on after a few seconds my odometer says, " no bus" what does this mean ?

The instrument cluster or ignition switch module,
lost communication with the electrical bus or wiring
system & can not be seen by other modules!

Need wiring diagrams & factory trouble charts to diagnose
the fault

May be something on the internet about it ,on your vehicle

Google the issue

I need a repair manual on replaceing the blower resistor on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4WD 4.0 6 cyl

Cannot find manual, but looks pretty simple. The resistor is under the dash. Not sure if there are access panels that you have to take off, but should look like picture below. Just unhook connector, take out 2 screws, resistor should come right out.

Heater wont work in my 1999 jeep cherokee sport. The fan blows but wont get warm. Does not leak in the floorboard as some do. Was wondering if there is a fuse for the heater?

One or more of:

1. Your coolant level is low
2. Your thermostat doesn't close and needs to be replaced
3. The valve from the cooling system to the heater core is stuck
4. Your heater core is clogged

1999 Jeep Sport, 6 cyl , Trouble with cold starts.

The fuel is bleeding back to the tank past the check valve in the pump. The check valve is there to hold fuel in the line for the next start up. You'll have to replace the fuel pump module to correct this problem. The less fuel in the tank the better off you are when replacing the pump because you have to lower the tank. I hope this helps.

Whay causes my 99 jeep cherokee to be sluggish going up a hill ?

May be in need of a tune up or you may have engine sludge. Check you spark plugs and see if they're fouled. If so, replace.
