Wow! are you sure the fuel isn't leaking out somewhere ? You should be getting around 200km in that much fuel. Have you walked around the car and smelled for gas smell? Maybe tank leak, or fuel line leak when running? Is that one carbureted or fuel injected? Carb I'm guessing. Black smoke out tailpipe when running?

Rate per kilometer for a 3.5 liter Kia Sorento petrol engine 2012 model (total of 2600 km driven)

You have to give us the price of fuel and. and type of driving. Was it all hiway miles or a lot of city miles This all makes a difference. Also how many litres of fuel. You can do it yourself by dividing the liters of fuel into the kilometers and multiplying the price you paid for a liter of fuel.

My Chrysler 2003 model consumped up one litre of Petrol per one kilometer high fuel consumption. What can be the cause?.

i doubt very much if it would be running at 1 litre per 1 kilometer
at very rich combustion stops at 10:1 as the fuel puts he fire out
I'm not disputing your figures just I would be looking for a fuel leak from a hose , filter leak or leak in the tank or some one stealing fuel
run the fault codes
check the fuel system from tank to manifold

My 4 litre engine (owner type jeep) consumes about 14 or 15 kilometers per liter of gas. is it ok ? Thnx

I edited your question for readability. As long as it is gas and not oil, it is about right. A tune up service could probably improve it a little.

You can check by using Google for

My toyota sienna 2000 is consuming too much fuel

Could be one or more injectors stuck open. Pull sparkplugs, one will look different, that's the one to check injector.

run the fault codes and find the sensors that are faulty.
check for fuel leaks in the system including faulty injectors and injector seals.
have a compression test done to check condition of the engine.

Hello,i bought a subaru outback 2002 from 3 months.and it's consuming more gas than normal.(130km/20 litre) could you please tell me what i have to change? and what is the normal consumption for this...

REPLACE AIR FILTER.CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS,CHECK TIRE PRESSURE.LOW TIRE PRESSURE WILL CAUSE LOT OF FUEL CONSUMPTION.CITY DRIVING WILL BURN LOT MORE GAS,STOPPING VECHICLE THEN GOING WILL CAUSE MORE GAS BURNING, YOU NEED POWER AND FUEL TO GET VECHICLE IN MOTION,BY IT BEING HOT WEATHER, USING AIR CONDITIONING TO KEEP COOL INSIDE WILL CAUSE MORE FUEL CONSUMPTION.

you probably need a new mass air flow sensor. disconnect and drive it. I had the same problem and when I disconnected the sensor it ran good.
