I need to change the heater blower motor in my 2000 Dodge Durango, when R&Ring this unit, do I take it out from under the hood ? Or does it come out from the duct work under the dash?

heat is supplied from the engine by hot engine coolant flowing though the heater core inside the dash.

Where is the heater resistor on a 2005 dodge dakota? Behind glove box?

should be just above the blower motor. You will need to remove the glove box door to gain access.

Where is the blower motor on a 1998 dodge durango

It looks like the 97-2003 are similar.
It is above the passenger footwell, next to the glove compartment.
Here is a video that should make the location pretty clear:

2000 durango blower

The blower motor is located under the passenger side of the dash. there should be power on the dark green wire at the blower motor. If there is no power check the 40 amp blower fuse and the blower relay. If there is power than ground the light green with white wire with the blower motor plugged in. If the blower does not come on than the blower is bad. If the blower comes on than you have a ground issue. The system is ground side controlled which means the switch provides ground. If the blower does not work on high I would suspect the ground wire is burnt on the backside of the switch since high speed bypasses the resistor.

99 Dodge durango heater not working

The blowers ion the back have there own blower motor. The front has it's own. The resister controls the range the blower motor runs on,( low, medium, high). If the blower motor is not working it may be the motor itself. Was the fuse checked:?

DID YOU CHECK THE BLOWER FUSE? YOU HAVE TO FUSE PANELS, ONE UNDER THE DASH AND THE OTHER UNDER THE HOOD.
