Change distributor. this year model is easy. there's only one way to put distributor in/only goes in as long as you note position of rotor and set it back in with rotor pointing the same direction , no timing adjustment on it, it's controlled electronically.

SOURCE: 2002 gmc yukon, rich fuel code, low fuel pressure @40

you may have two oxugen sensors on your yukon. if so the oxygen sensor that controls that bank may be bad. from what you mentioned in your complaint, it sounds like it is the oxygen sensor.

not all scanners a created equal. You need to check for trouble codes...............but it must be fixec by now.

Changed sensor 1 bank 1 and found I have four on 96 Yukon makes noise like putting underneath. Now want start. Wuts wrong

tell me did, did skipping start after you replace oxygen sensor or did vechicle already have skip before sensor change if so skipping can be caused by intake leak, bad spark plugs and wires, could have restricted fuel filter, weak fuel pump or weak ignition coil. if skipping occur after you replaced oxygen sensor could have loose sensor or cross thread sensor threads causing exhaust leak around oxygen sensor.

the crankshaft position sensor controls spark and if faulty would give the symptons you have described you need to get this checked first

check the crank sensor. no signal from the crank sensor causes a no spark condition. best way to check is to put a scanner on and check for rpms.
