Check your Brake Rotors for warpage, then check the ABS sensors at the back side of the Brake Rotor.

Pulsing brake pedal that is intermittent is almost always the ABS system activating. You may have a bad wheel speed sensor. Have the system scanned and checked as your symptoms require a professional.

My 98 Jetta vr6 the ABS light came on and now I have noticed the back brakes do not engage anymore

If you adjust the rear brakes it could take care of the ABS Light

If there is a Blockage in the ABS Pump, then this could also happen

A Failure of the ABS Pump will cause this also

This could be a couple of things....
It could be a defective abs sensor
Blown fuse
Dent rim which isn't straight would trigger abs light
Also if you happen to have changed the tire you could have interfered with the sensors
Get the abs light code { auto parts store should tell you the code that is triggering abs light} then you could post it on this post so i could help you better by pin pointing the problem.

Abs light and the brake light come on when starting the car and never turn off. Mecanic says the brakes are fine. What could be the problem?

The abs system does a self check every time you start your vehicle. If something fails during the self check the ABS light will stay on and the brake light will turn on as well. Have the ABS scanned to find out what trouble code is stored. The usual cause for this to happen is a bad wheel speed sensor. If the stored code is for a speed sensor it will tell you which wheel to look at.

Abs warning light comes on with brake light, but have strong brakes

The ABS light is telling you that the anti locking part of your brakes is not working, the brakes will still function like non ABS brakes. Check all of the brakes to make sure the electrical connection is still in place, every time I've had this happen one had came up plugged.

Premature ABS lock up

I have been through a similar experience. I will tell you what happen and how it was solved.
the ABS on my car would activate any time it want to. So I take to the shop they test it, no codes display. This happen again so I call the mechanic and talk to him and he said he want to try some thing else. He hook up his computer and we went for a drive the brakes did the same thing but he said that the computer detect one wheel sensor is going off and on again. He said that it is not staying off long enough for the light to come on and stay on.
He change the wheel sensor and the problem went away. In my case the problem was to find out which sensor activate the ABS.
The sensors is what tell the ABS to activates.
I do hope this help you.

ABS/Brake and Traction Light On-Beeping

You are loosing power Because the Computer is Shifting the Transmission in to Traction Low to get out of the Situation. The ABS Light is coming on due to Wheel spin. It is telling you that there has been an Unexpected Incident and to slow down.
