How can I disable the car Alarm

No there is not way to do this without locking out the engine. Have the dealer scan the theft deterrent system for the fault code.

Need to change code on door key pad

  • Enter the five-digit code programmed into the keypad from the factory. Find the key code in the card stored in the glove box of your Mariner.
  • Press the "1-2" button on the keypad immediately after inputting the factory code.
  • Enter the five-digit key code you wish to store for your keyless entry system within five seconds of pressing the "1-2" button.

2006 mercury mariner factory code for keyless door pad not working

Is it the original factory code? If you bought it used and they gave you the code, someone might have put their own code in.and if the D.D.M was replaced it comes with a new can retrieve it, but it has to be done at dealership. Then you can put in your own code.

I locked my keys in my 06 mercury mariner and i need to reset the code to my car, how can i reset the code?

You must have all remote entry transmitters (maximum of four) available before beginning this procedure. According with the Mariner Owners Manual check this procedure to reprogram the remote entry transmitters:

    1. Ensure the vehicle is electronically unlocked.
    2. Put the key in the ignition.
    3. Turn the key from the 1 (LOCK) position to 3 (RUN).
    4. Cycle eight times rapidly (within 10 seconds) between the 1 (LOCK) position and 3 (RUN).
Note: The eighth turn must end in the 3 (RUN) position.
    5. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming mode has been activated.
    6. Within 20 seconds press any button on the remote entry transmitter.
Note: If more than 20 seconds have passed you will need to start the procedure over again.
    7. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that this remote entry transmitter has been programmed.
    8. Repeat Step 6 to program each additional remote entry transmitter.
    9. Turn the ignition to the 1 (LOCK) position after you have finished programming all of the remote entry transmitters.
    10. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming mode has been exited.

Note: If all remote entry transmitters are not present during the programming procedure, the missing transmitters will not work with the vehicle following programming.

    Hope helps.

Rear doors unlock but will not lock

I assume you mean that the central locking system will not lock the doors but you can do so manually.

Get inside the vehicle and close all doors.

On each rear door, lock and unlock the mechanism manually a couple of times. In other words do not use the key pad.

Then leave both rear doors in the locked position (manual locking) and operate the lock button on you key pad to operate the central locking system. Wait a few seconds then hit unlock on your key pad and a few seconds later hit lock on your key pad.

If the system fails to lock your rear doors you will need to get the vehicle to an auto electrician to check out the issue and rectify it for you. There are a number of possible causes which cannot be identified without physically checking the system. So you will need to have this rectified by a professional.

    Anti-theft system stuck triggered

Anti-theft does not disable the lock cylinder itself it only keeps vehicle from starting, lock cylinder will still turn and energize the electronics. Sounds like you have a stuck tumbler in the lock cylinder itself, some times turning steering wheel with one hand while trying to turn the key with the other will free it up.
