SOURCE: Mitsubishi shogun has transmission warning light

if the shift is being made and the car is in gear it will not change ,in some cases it is necesary to reverse a few times to allow shifts to occur if this still fails you could have a sticky solonoid ,these are mounted on the r/f inner guard there are two of the next to each other make sure there is vacume at the solonoids as the car will allways fail in 4wd mode it requires vacume to allow it to disengage the front diff on start up,that is why there is a grinding noise if you switch off the motor and free wheel to a stop the front diff tries to engage

Its starting but its taking a couple of extra turns of the starter to then kick in runs fine after that. The glow plugs are okay and so is the battery. It is a 2005 Shogun Elegance DID.

Check your heater plug if that is a recommended voltage value for ur engine! Check the TIMER RELAY! Check the Air in the in the fuel system and bleed it! Lastly, check ur FUEL FiLTER and drain water sediments underneath the filter there is a BLEEDER! Taah!

How to turn off mitsubishi shogun sport front passenger airbag for child seat

if there is no switch and it doesn't have the second generation smart airbag system (there is a weight sensor in the passenger seat) you can't turn it off, refer to your owners manual on this.

Programming Key Fob

I have just bought a Shogun Sport Equippe TD, I have not taken delivery yet but I do own a Carisma and the way you program that remote key is to turn on the ignition for 10 sec +'s then switch off and press the close button, this causes the door locks to respond.
