Question about 1995 Hyundai Elantra
I have a 1995 hyundai lantra it was missing under pressure so i put new spark plugs in it and it went the same until the next morning and it ran beautiful for about an hour and it went back the same missing. i am at my witts end trying to fix the problem . could you help me please as i am losing patience
kind regards garry
Most cars I have encountered with misfire problems were the result of several problems. 1. Were factory recommended parts installed? (ie. Mazda uses NGK plugs not champion plugs.) I am also not an advocate of splitfire plugs and other after market parts. 2. When was the last time the plug wires were changes? I normally change mine every 60,000 miles regardless of engine trouble. 3. When was the last time the cap and rotor for the ignition system changed? Same as plug wires,I change them every 60,000 miles. 4. If you accidentally crack the porcelain on any of the spark plugs, then you can also expect a misfire.
