Hey took my bmw to dealer they lost my key asked for my drivers licence to req new key.said that they could not program it .now they say they have to order 2 new keys and change csa.whats csa?

CSA is security. They can't start the car without reprogramming it. Takes two different key chips to reprogram. They lost the key, it should be there cost. Those keys are cheap.

Lost key need to get a new one, do i need to go to the dealership

It depends on the year. Call the dealer and see if they can cut a key with your vin number. Some of the newer keys have to be programmed to your car, and the dealer can do that for you. If it is an older BMW a locksmith may be your least expensive resource to make a key.

How much do bmw charge to replace a key fob battery

At BMW dealer ship they charge near to $100 plus service charge. But if its the only problem of battery in your key-fob then get it replaced by local car garage ,they will do it at very less cost. The cost of key-fob battery is not very much. You can get batteries at local car part store or at auto-zone service center. ------- thanks.

Lost keys require new locks for BMW X3

replacing the complete lock set with the EWS control unit can be expensive as the control unit will also need to be programed and/or encoded, however if the lost keys cannot be found and you are sure they cannot be used to steel you car you can just order replacement keys from your local bmw dealer. hope this is of some help. You will also nead to disable the lost keys if you order replacements rather than a complete set.
