Low pressure kicks clutch in at 70 and high pressure reads bout 170
SOURCE: I need to know how to jump the ac low pressure to get my ac compressor to come on.
If you look on the low pressure side of the AC system you will see a plug that is incorporated in to the line. It will have two wires leading to it. Remove the plastic clip that attaches the two wires to the sensor and use a short piece of wire to connect the two terminals in side the plug by putting the ends into the cap. This will bypass the low pressure sensor and allow the AC clutch to engage and begin to cycle again. Remember this low pressure switch is there for a reason. If you don't add more r-134 to the system and allow the AC compressor to cycle you will destroy the compressor. You need to charge the system when you bypass the low pressure switch and get the system up to full charge status and reconnect the switch.
SOURCE: a/c compressor clutch will not
Make sure that the R-134a level in system is fully charged. If ok then check A/C Fuse. If it is ok, then check low pressure cycling switch as they were known as a week link! Go to tracing electrical from there GM had problems with HVAC control heads also. Hope this helps!
SOURCE: a/c warm low and high side pressures wrong
it could be one of 2 things.
you didn't vaccum it all the way or there is b clog in the system. next time u flush it run about 1/8 cup of rubbing alcohol through it . then push clean air through it. then refill it. if that doesnt work replace the seals on the compressorlow and high side lines/manifold.
SOURCE: AC compressor wont come on and AC light flashes on the dash.
Sounds like low on r134,when was the last you had the service?
No you don't. The hi/lo awitch is on the tubing at the drier.
