Have a pontica Grand Prix 2006 v 6 engine turns over have no spark at spark plugs have no 12volts icm check fues under hood change crank shaft position sensor all so change ingnition switch need help

When you change a crankshaft position sensor, your engine computer will lose the readings for the crankshaft position and thus lose the spark timing.
Your vehicle now needs what is called a "CASE learn" to run now and will not run until this is done, regardless of anything else. This procedure will essentially allow your PCM to reprogram the timing back to normal. Most dealership and repair garages can get you going.

1988 2.8 Multi Port INJ. w series Engine turns..

Crankshaft sensor is what ECU uses to fire injectors. Check it out with a voltmeter. Look for continuity, resistance and voltage. Look over connectors they are likely to be corrored or lose.
The coil is where the spark is made in this vehicle check it for leakge, resistance and voltage and corrosion .

4.3 vortec runs OK cold, runs rough or dies warm

replace the CKP and the truck will need to go to a shop and have the "crankshaft variation relearn" performed. the misfire may or may not go away, and that will need to be addressed also.
