Question about 1998 Chevrolet Malibu
1998 malibu started running bad today been fine has 94444 on autozone said #5 cyl plug looks good wire to HELP
Some common causes of misfires on any cylinder are faulty spark plug, plug wire, ignition coil, or a sticking injector.
Remove the plug wire and check the end on the coil for rust, as well as the coil itself. If ok, then the most likley cause is a sticking injector. A small tap on the injector while running can sometimes free it up.
