It couldn't be the wheel bearings or it would continue to vibrate in neutral. Have you checked the rear differential to make sure it has fluid?

I have a 92 legacy sedan with bad motor. Bought a 92 legacy wagon turbo. Do I have to change wire harness in front with computor, or can I change just computor?

hi im presuming your old car is non turbo if so you will have to change a lot of parts over to make it work, you will have to replace entire engine loom, the ecu will need changed over then the fuel pump and all of the fuel lines will need to be replaced with the bigger turbo model ones to keep up also the trans will bolt strait up but will be the major weak point so swap over if possible.

Replaced broken water pump, replaced thermostat, and the temperature gauge consistently sits just below red once it's warmed up. It never seems to go into the red if I'm idling or taking short trips, but...

hi the temp gauge should sit in the lower quarter of the gauge, it has to be a faulty water temp sensor as anything else would cause it to over heat badly

Hi I have a 1991 Subaru Legacy GT Station Wagon, which I'm told has a transmission solenoid problem on the 4 wheel drive system, causing a vibrating noise when turning on full lock. I have since...

It is safe. the manufacturer would tell you to do it if it wasn't (unless it was toyota). any way it is better to run in two wheel than four. will save you money. it's less wear and tear on the system.

My 1994 Subaru Legacy Touring (Turbo) Wagon is not shifting properly when taking off. It does not shift until 3500 rpm at 20 mph. The initial shift should be around 2000 rpm. All other gears seem...

Hi,
The 1st>>2nd shift on the Subaru 4EAT automatic transmission can be more abrupt, but 3500 is too high.
Is there any delay when shifting from Park to Drive?
Does the Power light flash on startup? If it does, you can pull the codes by following these instructions.

This trans has 'bands' that can be adjusted. I'm not 100% sure they affect the 1st>2nd gear shift, but maybe they need adjusted.

Take a look @ ultimatesubaru.org/forum and http://bbs.legacycentral.org. 2 sites dedicated to Subarus.

Good luck,

HOW TO REPLACE THE TIMING BELT, TENSIONER, WATERPUMP, AND CRANK SEAL AND REFILL SYTEM WITH COOLENT ON A 2005 SUBARU LEGACY 2.5I non-turbo and non-GT wagon.

Hi,
WOW... It'd take a book's worth of instructions on here to answer your question. Which is why I would recommend that you purchase a repair manual specific to your model. It should give you all the info you need for these jobs and for future jobs as well. I always buy one for each vehicle that I plan to keep a while... they aren't that expensive and really pay for themselves in the long haul.
Hope this helps... Good luck with your project!
