Why will it cranks but not start

the G10 engine? or ?

spark to all 4 cylinder or just one, is good?

if all are good

and compression way low below 150psi

then the belt slipped the timing belt

if compression is at spec, then try test fuel

runs for 3 sec, that means lost fueling.

so its the belt. the compression likes to drop to 80PSI (1/2 normal)

as the cam goes WAY RETARDED. natrually.

1987 Chevy silverado fule injeted truck want start getting gas in both injectors and spark from the wires what else could cause the engine not to start

It needs compression, spark at the right time, and fuel to run.
Does it sound like it has plenty of compression ?
Any major vac leaks ?
Have you checked the computer for trouble codes ?

Engine won't start

If you have spark at the right time, compression, and fuel, you should have combustion.
Was it running before you had the work done ?
Is it possible the distributor timing is off ?
You know for sure the plugs are firing, not just the coil ? And the accel pump in the carb is spraying gas ? And the choke is closed ?
A major vac leak like the PCV valve hose or intake gasket could keep it from starting.

The engine won't run. fire and gas is good the engine only cranks.

If fire (ignition) and gas (fuel) is good, then you either have a distributor that is totally out of time or you have severe engine damage or wear. If you have proper ignition, fuel, timing and compression, the engine will run. One of these things is missing.

Truck will crank but won't start, checked fuel tank switch and it works, you can hear fuel pump come on and truck still won't start

check the fire to the spark plugs first,if they fire good check fuel pressure,if good check compression especially if it's a 300 6 cyl they can almost completly loose compression and sometimes no smoke or any thing.that pretty well covers all bases gas pressure, fire, and commpression.if low compression check timing they had plastic on the outside of the gears it breaks and falls off then time jumps, warning i've seen some vehicles still show decent compression even out of time just depending on the position of crank and cam.hope it helps

1999 tracker will not start. I have checked plugs and they get fire, and there is plenty of air, but no fuel, replaced fuel pump and still no fuel. there is power.

correction , check compression after certain the Timing belt has not slipped and cam timing is off.
if cam slips by more than 20 degress , say good by motor.

Wont start

Have you checked the cyl compression yet? If the compression is too low, it will not fire even if you have air, gas and good spark and properly timed. Ford recommends a minimum of 101 psi, but the truck should run (quite roughly I might add) on 85 psi.
