Check the throttle position sensor and/or the Idle control valve. The IAC idle control valve can be cleaned with brake cleaner or other carburator cleaner. remove the duct work fro the air cleaner.Looking inside towards the fuel system you can see the valve. Spray the cleaner directly at the valve with the car running at 1200 rpms. Spary a little at a time. Turn off the engine and repeat the process . These valves get dirty and make the engine act up.for checking the sensor, you will have to get a scan code at Krager or Autozone, They do it for free. I hopethis helps. If it does, vote an answer please.

Lack of info, but These cars are known for bad computers. The wires on the back of the harness that plugs into the computer gets loose. I would let car idle and wiggle wires at the same time. I had 2 corsicas that did this. They were 3.1L engines. My 4 cylinder corsica had knock sensor issues. What size motor do you have??? A knock sensor does the same as what you are describing as well. Give me more info and we can go from there.
The Idle air control valve is the way the computer controls idle speed. If the computer can not control it, the warning light comes on. Look for gum and varnish in the throttle body or something holding the throttle plate open. Also could be a vac leak or broken hose. Also check for foreign matter in the hole where the IAC goes. Something may be holding the valve open. Even a broken gasket under the throttle body could cause the air leak.
ur computer probably wont show anything ur tranny problem can be anything fron needing a filter changed to vacuum problem to torque converter check the fluid for level if low fill up- before filling look and smell fluid it should be reddish in color not brownish [fluid burnt]if it smells burnt- need trans service can be just a filter and flush ,bad sensor-actuator or rebuild
. Have it checked for a trouble code. It seems like a sensor problem. ( Idle position , crankshaft position, camshaft position sensors could be bad. Also the EGR valve could be bad. with a caode you can narrow it down a bit.
Broken or worn out engine mounts will cause allot of engine vibration in drive at idle, reverse also, change all 4 the mounts, not just the 2 broken ones. As far as slow acceleration no mounts will not cause that, Have you reached the 100,000 mile recommended tune up? have you ever replaced the fuel filter, this is required every 30,000, let me know.
