I have a 97 ford f150 4.6l got gas started driving and it started missing than check eng. light started flashing than stayed on it has never done that till today

so sounds like you need either 1 or more ignition coils replaced, have it scanned to see which cylinder/cylinders it is,plugs should be replaced as well because of carbon tracks on the plugs...this will ruin new coils!

My v-70 2.4T starts but does not move when put in gear. It started today when we got stuck in snow.

If its a geartronic box, they are known for allowing water into the ECU for the gearbox (which is why I bought a manual D5). If you can get the car out of the snow to a level area and allow it to dry (I would let the car tickover for a considerable time to generate heat) you may get the box to function.

1999 GMC safari seems to be fuel starved. The other night my husband was on his way to work, it was snowing terribly and fishtailed a bit so he took his foot off the gas when he put his foot back on the...

If your not getting the MIL- engine light coming on and you can smell gas and you had the fuel pump replaced. I would sespect the electronic ignition module of being intermintent. It wouldn,t necessarily show as an engine code and would make it so the vehicle would run find one munite and not run the next The other thing you could check is the fuel filter however i can,t see a mechineic not changeing this with the fuel pump

I bought a 2005 Ford Five Hundred last May.... I had no problem until when it started getting really cold and it started snowing. It wont start everytime I get in my car when its really cold or snowing ...

Since you bought it, what has been done in the way of
preventative maintenance

I would have layed it up for two weeks, and gone through the
entire vehicle,changing all fluids,spark plugs,checked fuel
pressure and on and on.

You probably bought a vehicle that is 5 or more years old,
that other than, oil changes, is the same as when it came off the
train and car hauler, on the way to a dealer

That won't work on todays high tech vehicles

Snow and cold, has little to do with todays electronic wonders

You do realize, your asking a question, when as I said, we have no vehicle

I don't think you understand the technology, not anyone can work on todays
vehicles. You need a 2 or 4 year college degree, if your just starting out

I will help you when you give me something technical to work with

You may have gotten some snow it the connector for the TCM ( transmission control Module) computer for the transmission, or you may have pulled a wire off from the bottom of the vehicle check for any loose wiring harness connectors on the Transmission.
If you find tis information helpful please geve me a good rating
Thank you ,Randy
