Hello, Donald -

Have you thought to check with a Mercury auto dealer in your area to find out the right radio activation code for the radio? The dealer may be able to obtain the code using the VIN.

Best wishes.

2000. Why is steering wheel difficult to turn?

Can depends if pulley pump was installed incorrectly or you have a bad rack. The best way to check if your pump is actually pumping is by crimping the return line with pliers careful not to cut it and listen for whine if no whine is heard pump is defective if whine is heard your rack and pinion is bad

take it to vw and get a scan need to know what it needs.
sometimes a defect in one area will trigger a false code,so be wary of that.i just worked on a 88 aerostar and the scanner said the tps(throttle position sensor) was low output,,it had very little power until after a few seconds and it was a worn timing chain,so be careful to check everything visually first...

Modifications to my 2008 subaru liberty non turbo 5 speed man

Start with a higher flowing airfilter( a replacement panel one in your factory airbox,as a pod filter will **** hot air and off set any flow gains that it gives) a larger diameter exhuast is next and im unsure of what sensors are in your 08 subaru but theres always away of getting around it. They are the best bang for buck modifications you can do and should net you 7-10kw at the wheels, most things after that can get expensive after that on a N/A motor and the airfilter is easy to do yourself , any exhaust place can take care of your exhaust. help this helps.
