You can go to autozone.com. setup an account for free and just look up the service manual for your vehicle. It's free. You can't download it to your computer or save it but you can print the page you need out. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Yes i have a 96 cadillac deville i just bought i cant feel it shifting. It goes right into gear and goes down the road but dont feel it shifting.

Try manually shifting it and see if you can feel it shifting. You should be able to.Then just drive it in drive light normal and see if you can feel it.Usually you will get a check engine light or have the transmission codes checked if you do feel it.Sometimes these transmissions are very smooth.Hope this helps.

Yes, most likely a fault in the auto transmission, and the car has shut itself off to prevent further damage.

Transmission will not shift from low gear.

ok, its the shift solenoid that is malfunctioning here. replacing it will fix this issue.also, check the transmission fluid to see if its low.

Gear shifter

It sounds like you might need some transmission fluid or you might need a transmission fluid change. In the worst case senario you will need a code reader to ***** the situation. Also was this car from America or was it from Europe because there is a difference in transmission capabilities.
