Take car to dealer and have it checked out, could just be loose wire but if it is defective then permanent damage to catalytic converter will result

Hello cherokee 2005 oxygen sensor light on when low fuel why ?

You might like to clarify what warning light is dislaying on the dash because there is no "oxygen sensor warning light" as such.

You may have a check engine light though.

P0131 sabb 93 2001 po121 error codes

P0131 - O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1 (sensor is before the catalytic converter)

Possible causes- Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 harness is open or shorted
- Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1
- Inappropriate fuel pressure
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Intake air leaks may be faulty
- Exhaust gas leaks
P0132 - O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1
Possible causes- Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 harness is open or shorted
- Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Front Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1
- Inappropriate fuel pressure
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Intake air leaks may be faulty
- Exhaust gas leaks

I am not really sure what is going on here with the same O2 sensor giving these lean and rich codes, if nothing else is apparent and the engine runs well you may have a defective O2 sensor.

I have p044 code for Camry 2004

P0044 - HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 3)

The P0044 is set when the ECM detects an excessively high voltage through the heated oxygen sensor heater circuit

Oxygen Sensors (O2S) or Heated Oxygen Sensors (HO2S) need to reach a minimum operating temperature of 750 degrees F to produce an accurate voltage signal. The faster the heated oxygen sensor reaches that temperature the faster the sensor will start sending an accurate signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).

In order to achieve the require temperature, a heater element is included inside the heated oxygen sensor. The ECM controls the heated oxygen sensor heater element based on signals from the engine coolant temperature and engine load. The ECM controls the heater element circuit by allowing current flow to ground.

Symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)

Possible causes
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 3 circuit open shorted to ground
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 3 circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 3 circuit
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Bank 1 Sensor 3 circuit fuse
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

The ECM monitors the voltage signal received through the heater element circuit and determines the state of the circuit by comparing the voltage detected with the factory specifications.

While driiving mh 1998 Dodge Dakota the truck will stop running. Could this be the oxygen sensor?

If the oxygen sensor was bad, it might cause some driveability problems, but it would likely trigger a check engine or service engine soon light on the dash. Maybe look into a crankshaft positioin sensor, coil, or other cause that doesn't necessarily get red flagged by the check engine light.

Good luck on this repair.

Oxygen sensor i put a oxgen sensor in . the engine light is still on

Most auto stores will plug a diagnostic box into a plug under the dash. The car will then tell you why the light is on. Auto stores will do the diagnostic for free to sell you the parts you need to fix it. When they have your car plugged in they can also turn off the light. If the light comes back on you will probably need to do the recommended repair to keep the light off. It is possible the oxygen sensor was not bad or there were actually multiple problems causing the light to be on.

Check engine light

P0041 Downstream Oxygen Sensors Swapped From Bank To Bank
How does a P0041 code trigger the check engine light? This code will trigger the light to come on under the following condition:

The Heated Oxygen Sensor Monitor, a strategy built into the computer, determines if the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) signal response for a change in fuel trim corresponds to the correct engine bank. If a response from the Oxygen Sensor being tested is not indicated, a trouble code will be set and the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) will illuminate.
Possible Causes:
Crossed Heated Oxygen Sensor harness connectors
Wiring swapped from one Oxygen Sensor connector to the other
Wiring changed at the computer connection or in the related harness
