The PCM (vehicle computer) controls the power windows for your vehicle. check the power window relay under the hood before repairing PCM. Also the cheapest way is to call local garage and ask if they have a TECH2 scanner to talk to the PCM. The Dealer will charge you about $95hr. to do this.

You also have white plastic pegs, not sure what they're called anyway you will find them around the edges and bottom of the inside panel. If you have this tool that looks like a screwdriver and it is used for polling tax out of furniture i believe if you don't have that then use something that is thin enough to slide inside the panel and pop it loose from the pegs. You will be able to tell aprox. where they are by the friction as you try to pull the panel out. It took me an hour to get the panel off and everything disconnected and now the fun part seems to be getting the motor out,

I hope this helps,
Cynthia

there are two screws there...then you need to pop out window controls two clips.just pry on side up. unplug connections (There should be four) Finally push upfrom bottom of door panel ...oh yea right where the inside door handle is... pop of the cover...and that is it

Doorlocks dont work except from passenger side. mirrors dont work. windows dont work from anywhere

First, check all fuses to make sure that none are blown.

If the door lock switch works on the passenger side, then the drivers side door lock switch is probably faulty. Use a multi-meter to test the Drivers Side Door Lock Switch (Black and Pink/Light Green wires unlock the vehicle, and the Black and Pink/Yellow wires lock the vehicle)
If the switch is tested and found to be operating properly, you may have a faulty Body Security Module or Drivers Side Door Lock Actuator.

If neither of your Power Mirrors are working, you probably have a faulty Exterior Rear View Mirror Switch, Power Mirror Module, or blown Central Junction Box Fuse.

If none of your Power Windows are working, you probably have a faulty Accessory Delay Relay or a blown fuse in your Central Junction Box or a faulty Master Window Adjust Switch (all of the Power Window Switches feed through this Master Window Switch). If the Power Windows didn't stop working at the same time, you may have faulty Window Adjust Switches, or faulty Power Window Motors, this is very unlikely though. It would also be a good idea to inspect the wiring for any obvious damage.

'93 aerostar power locks dont work driver window does passenger window goes down but up slowly power mirrors dont work at all

The doors locks and mirrors may be a blown fuse.

The window is simply a window lift motor that is either worn out and ready to go, or the tracks need cleaned and lubed...but most likely its the motor

Look under the Hood and Locate the Fuse Relay Box. Usually on the Drivers Side on GM Vehicles. Inside this Box is where the Relay is for the Windows. The Relay and Fuse Diagram is on the Inside of the Box Lid. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
