Look on the back inside the engine compartment for missing or broken bolts holding it in. offhand i would say one of the adjusters (aimers) has broken

Where is the thermostat located on a 1996 ford e150 van ?

Hello, You need to follow the upper radiator hose and where it attaches to the engine, thats where the thermostat is located. Just remove the 2 screws to take it off. You will need a new thermostat and gasket when re-assembling it. Try not to get any of the gasket material into the engine block housing when removing it or when scraping the surfaces to clean or prep them for re-assembly, also don't gouge the surfaces (the engine block or the thermostat's housing).
Good Luck! Rich L.

Bad leak in fuel line need to replace

You don't say whether this is at a connector or a damaged fuel line. Also you don't mention what sized vehicle/engine for the van. Auto zone shows straight replacement fuel line in stock on this page (for me here in Texas) at $19.99. Check out the link to their website:

Brake and turn signal lights stopped working on my 1996 Ford E150

You might have cut a wire or it could have broken or disconnected. Try tracing the wiring where you hooked up the trailer you may find one broken or disconnected.
