Question about 1999 Ford Explorer
Even on idle mode if i try accelerating it drops with a flat sound and when i try to move the car once i apply pressure on the accelerator in other to move it either goes of or the acceleration drops, but on a smooth surface if a start accelerating gradually it move and when it get to a certain level trying to move fast it drops again.i've try changing the fuel pump, flow meter, serviced the nossels changed the plugs but the error persist.
It seems you may have overlooked the most obvious, the fuel filter. A severely choked filter will cause exactly this problem. You might have gotten a batch of dirty gas if it came on suddenly.
If you find my suggestions to be helpful, please share with us some details so that others may benefit from knowing the whole story. Thank you!
