The problem your having is that the brake didnt relase undeneath your car but it only happed on the one tire. the way you can fix it is go under the car and you will find a cable that goes to both of the wheels. the cable on thr right rear use a vise grip to grab it and slightly pull to release. once it has released spray the area where the cable goes into the brake housing with WD-40.

that should take care of your problem

Pontiac grand Prix 2001 front feels likeit grabing when push on brakes abs light comes on. And I stops

You've most likely got a defective abs sensor. Check plugs/wiring at each wheel. That will happen if abs module sees no movement from one of your wheels. It's consantly monitoring wheel movement. If you use a scanner you can narrow it down very quick. Without a scanner it's tough.

What is a spindle on a 1999 pontiac grand prix?

It's the main part of the suspension, supported by the control arms. It holds the wheel bearing and is there the brakes and wheels are mounted.

the rear hub and wheel bearing assembly is sealed-for-life and must be replaced as a unit. it is secured to the knuckle w/ 4 bolts. then maneuver it out through the brake caliper bracket.

Your brake peddle switch may be out of adjustment or defective. Look under the dash to the peddle & about half way up you will see the switch. Make sure it is releasing & working properly. Good luck!
