- So by the no easy way 2 do that means no answer available i suppose. I was not lookn 4 an easy way just a way. Yet 4 all of three days everyone tells me it aint easy or asks questions to my question that is in my question. I thot that someone mite know more than me on this subject but as of yet it would seem that an answer is not plausable. So I will do what i should have three days ago n figure it out myself. I cannot believe the negative responses that come from so called xperts. I appreciate u n all the others who say it aint easy or cant b done, yet i will do it . Cheverlot told me i couldnt put a 700r4 tranny in place of a 4L80E electric shift tranny. Because overdrive wouldnt work n neither would the speedometer. They were wrong. I changed the male end on the trucks electrical 2 the square 4 wire plug i got from a junkyard out of a truck that had a 700r4 n it. Overdrive worked n so did speedometer. wires were color coded so that wasnt a problem. Only problem was all the xperts said it couldnt b done n i did it. So as I tackle another one that yall have no answer 4 or even the scope of the issue, I say i will do it n i will email how i did n less than 48 hours. N i dont consider myself an xpert, but cant never could!
