Yes, all blower motors have them to control their speed, High, medium, low.. etc. I earn nothing by helping you, but my rating, a fixya rating and I will walk you through this

INFO: ON OLDER HEATING SYSTEMS THE BLOWER RESISTOR DID NOT AFFECT THE HIGH BLOWER . IF THE RESISTER WENT OUT YOU WOULD STILL HAVE HIGH SPEED BECAUSE THE HIGH BLOWER WAS CONTROLLED BY A RELAY. ON THE 2005 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY THE HIGH SPEED BLOWER CICET IS PART OF THE RESISTER ASSEMBLY. IN THE RESISTER ASSEMBLE THERE IS A THERMAL FUSE THAT IS IN THE HIGH SPEED BLOWER CIRCUIT IF THIS THERMAL FUSE GOES YOU LOSE HIGH SPEED.

TROUBLESHOOTING THE FRONT BLOWER NO RUNNING.( THE BELOW PROCEDURE IS FOR THE MANUAL HEATER SYSTEM NOT FOR THE AUTO SYSTEM) FIRST REMOVE THE GLOVE BOX. AFTER REMOVING THE GLOVE BOX LOOK IN WERE THE GLOVE BOX WAS YOU WILL SEE A BLACK PLATE WITH 2 PLUGS THE LARGER PLUG IS THE PLUG THAT IS FOR THE DIFFERENT BLOWER SPEEDS AND THE HIGH BLOWER SPEED GROUND. POWER FOR THE HIGH BLOWER COMES RIGHT FROM THE HIGH BLOWER RELAY IN THE POWER MOD UNDER THE HOOD. THE HIGH SPEED SETTING GROUND IS CONTROLLED BY THE RESISTER PACK FROM THE CONTROLS. TO TEST IF THE THERMAL FUSE HAS FAILED. TO SEE IF THE BLOWER MOTOR IS GOOD AND THE RESISTER ASSEMBLE HAS FAILED RUN A GROUND WIRE TO THE BLACK WIRE IN THE 2 WIRE PLUG IF THE BLOWER MOTOR IS GOOD IT WILL RUN. REPLACE THE FAILED RESISTOR ASSEMBLE. TO REPLACE THE RESISTER ASSEMBLE REMOVE THE 2 PLUGS FROM THE ASSEMBLE AND THEN REMOVE THE 2 SCREWS THAT HOLD IT TO THE BLOWER MOTOR HOUSING. TO INSTALL JUST REVERES THE REMOVAL. REINSTALL THE GLOVE BOX AND ENJOY THE HEAT OR AIR.

SOURCE: Front blower motor doesn't work, rear does

check or replace your front blower motor resistor. this is the most common problem aside from a bad blower switch. you could also try to recalibrate your system but that usually doesn't work. I'm betting on the resistor.

Rear A/C does not work. it will not come on, front works fine but rear does not do anything, front driver control turned to rear pass operation NADA,front control turned for driver control NADA, cannot...

since you know where the blower motor relay is for the rear, have someone turn on the switch while you touch the relay. if you feel a click then the relay is good an trying to turn the rear blower on. that would mean you have a bad blower motor or bad blwer motor resistor for the rear unit.

Front blower dont work but back blower works

First Check the Front Blower Relay located in the IPM Fuses and Relay box in the Engine Compartment. There should be individual Front and Rear Blower Relays. The Identification and Location should be on the rear of the IPM Cover. If not check your Owner's Manual.
Switch these two Relays and recheck operation of the Front and Rear Blowers again. If the Front now works and the Rear does not, then the Relay was bad and needs to be replaced.
However the most common problems I have found is that the Front Blower only works on High. Is that the Case? Check it to be sure. If it only works on High then it is 100% the Resistor that is bad and needs to be replaced. The Front Blower Motor Resistor fail in these more often that the Blower Motor itself.
Remove the Dash Glove Box out of the Dash to gain access to the Resistor.

It doesn't blow off heat was working fine yesterday and just suddenly stopped working

Check the Front Blower Motor Relay located in the IPM Relay and Fuse Box. It's location should be identified on the back side of the cover. There are other exact Relays (like the Spare Relay or the adjacent: Rear Blower Motor Relay or Defogger Relay) that you can switch out and check operations. If the Front works now but not the Rear, it is the Relay and should be replaced.
