My wipers on a 95 caravan were frozen to my windshield,

Stupidly I turned them on and now they do not work. There is a "clicking" noise when I turn them on , but nothing else.

How do I check for a short when battery cable is connected

The clicking noise from fuse box is probably a relay! Nothing happening could mean anything! Without turning the ignition can you turn on headlights, does the inside light come on when you open the door, horn work?

Turn key just a clicking noise. Lights come on. Check engine light on

A weak battery will make the lights come on & energize the solenoid for the starter, but the battery is too weak to make the starter motor turn. Checking the battery would be first, the solenoid second.

My 2002 chrysler sebring 2.4L will not start turn key and hear no clicking noise nothing at all, lights and horn work , when i jumped the battery it did nothing no clicking. what should i try next?

Check if you have power at the starter from the ignition key
Try give direct power to the starter, if still not starts, you have a bad starter

Why is there a clicking noise when i turn the heat off in my 05 mustang

It's nothing to worry about, most vehicles do this clicking noise when the blower motor slows to a stop. It's perfectly fine, don't touch it.

Clicking noise or no sound when turning on the

If the battery is weak there won't be enough voltage to engage the solenid so it will click or do nothing. If the battery is good a bad solenoid will also.

When turning it makes loud noises and is harder to turn, but there seems to be enough fluid in container.

Does it make a clunking noise when turning? How about a continuous clicking noise when turning? That would be tie rod end if clunking, or cv shaft (ball bearings) if continual clicking when turning. Sometimes turning very sharply can put to much pressure on the power steering pump and strain on the belt when turning. Do check your steering linkage and make sure nothing is rubbing against the tire when turning.

Clicking noise when i turn left

Sounds like constant velocity joints at the end of the drive shaft, the joints at the end of the drive shaft that allow the wheel to swivel, to turn. Only makes noise when turning left or right and is usually only from one side.
Hope this is of help. jccampbell@eircom.net
