97 ford AWD V8 Explorer- electronic temp control for heater

The switch that adjust the heater temp is electronic and appears to hold the valve open all the time on full heat. I was going to check a fuse to start with, but the fuse box is unmarked? Tom

I found another forum on the internet, where a person had a simular problem. I checked on the temperature mixing door in the heater box. The moter was working, so I know I have a broken flapper or linkage inside the box. This is going to be a difficult part to access. Thanks anyway for the offer to help. Tom L

I just bought a 97 Ford Explorer AWD. V8. The AWD will not kick in when the wheels spin.

Check and see if you have locks that have to be turned on the front wheels, in the center of the hub to lock the front wheels into 4WD.

I bought a 97 ford explorer and had to replace the drivers seat but the new seats the plugs are different not sure how to wire it

you have the wrong seat... you can use it but will have no electronic controls. trying to wire the wires in can be dangerous if there is an airbag in the seat. the other option is to switch seat tracks with the old seat if possible

NO HEAT AT ALL FROM THE VEHICLE ONLY COLD AIR

if the heater hoses going in and out of the heater core are hot, then your temp blend door is not moving to allow heat from the heater core into the car. either the temp knob or blend door motor is bad. some are vacuum, some are electric.
